Research Experience

Postdoctoral Positions:

10/2021 - 4/2022: Postdoc Fellow, Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev

Characterizing the influence of subsurface structures on vegetation cover and sail.

  • Remote Sensing Laboratory
  • Supervisor: Prof. Amon Karnieli

8/2020 - 9/2021: Postdoc Fellow, Israel Institute of Technology

Analyzing spatial patterns of accessibility equity to transportation systems in US 49 largest metropolitan areas.

  • Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning
  • Supervisor: Prof. Karel Martens

Impact

I am broadly interested in remote sensing and geographic information science (GIS) as a means to study spatial and remote phenomena. The disciplines in which I apply them range from (planetary) geomorphology to climate change to archaeology.

In the Department of Geology & Geophysics I will be working on development of automated boulder-detecting algorithm that will be used to interpret surface processes in the northern lowlands of Mars related to boulder production and ice-driven surface motion.
