Environmental and Isotope Geochemistry
Environmental and Isotope Geochemistry at TAMU encompasses the study of Earth's current environment, its past environments, and its chemical and isotopic make-up and geochronology. Research projects vary from studies of hypoxia in Texas coastal waters to studies of anoxia in Earth's early atmosphere. The program boasts six faculty members and four laboratories.
Graduate students from this program have lead successful careers in academia, industry (petroleum and environmental), and governmental and non-governmental agencies.
