Mr. Jianchao Ge

Ph.D. Candidate

Ph.D., Geophysics, Texas A&M Univ., expected 2014

B.S., Physics, Fudan Univ., Shanghai, China 2009

Research Interests

Petroleum Physics, Seismic Interpretation, Reservior Charcterization, Electromagnetic Exploration

  • Currently I'm working on a research problem to investigate the effects of porefluid pressure's changes in fractures on elastic wave's velocity in saturated fractured rocks. Finding a proper model to describe the relationship between pressure and seismic velocity in fractured rocks is especially in favor of facilitating the accuracy and effeciency of time-lapse seismic investigation.
  • Advisor: Dr. Rick Gibson
