Bio

I am a first year graduate student working with Dr. Sparks and Dr. Duan to study the effect that fluid filled granular media may have on the initiation or suppression of earthquake activity. Our research involves linking a grain-scale numerical model to a larger scale dynamic rupture model in an effort to understand the relationship how a perturbation in one system changes the behavior in the other.

I also serve as the Head Instructor for Goju-ryu at TAMU, a traditional karate organization. For more information on that, visit our website: gojuryu.tamu.edu
