M.S. University of Wisconsin - Madison, Geology, 2009 B.A. Oberlin College, Physics, 2006 Research InterestsI study the effects of physical and chemical processes on rock deformation. My PhD research is a set of experimetal studies to better understand fault zone mechanics from in-situ to seismic strain-rates. I am also interested in the mechanics of natural hydraulic fracture formation. PublicationsFrench, M. E., Boutt D. F., and Goodwin, L. B.
