  1. Constructed Pb isotope data base and deciphered the source of the human teeth fossil in Yuchi Temple, Anhui, China;March 2008- July 2008
  2. Analyzed Antimony Pollution in NY-ALESUND, Svalbard archipelago, Arctic, found the possible contamination source and its impact on Environment, and deciphered the human activity in the recent more than one hundred years there. Earned “Excellent Undergraduate Research Program” in USTC. July 2007-Oct. 2007
  3. Analyzed Pb, Hg, Cr, Cd, Fe, Cu, Sb, Se, Sr, F, S, H, C, O, etc. more than twenty elements’ concentration in Antarctic Seal, Penguin and Arctic reindeer, moss, etc. June 2007-Sep. 2007, April 2008-May 2008

Field Study

  • Field trip to Caohu for geological investigation: mapping the stratigraphy and the structure of Caohu and the Tancheng Lujiang Fault zone, studied the geological evolution and mineralogy characteristics. May 2005       
  • Field trip to Huainan for geographical investigation: studied the Huai River Basin characteristics, the landform characteristics and the contamination in Huainan area. Sep.  2006                                                    
  • Field trip to Yuntai Mountain for geological and ecological investigation: studied the distinctive geological formation and structure, and the unique iron-rich lithology in Yuntai Mountain; appreciated the harmony between the nature and human. Oct. 2006                                                                                                          
  • Field trip to Huang Mountain for ecological investigation: studied the Huangshan macaque’s adaption to environment, their interspecific relationship and intraspecific relationship; studied our ancestors’ cleverly use of the terrain, hydrology and geography in their life and building in Hong Village; appreciated the natural beauty in Valentine Valley. Sep. 2007
