Generally, I am interested in the intersection of the domains of culture and geoscience education.  Included in this is the exploration of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and its relevance to youth.  Specifically, my aim is to elucidate which components of a culturally appropriate geoscience education program for Native American youth, called Sharing the Land,  enables the program to be efficacious in transforming youths’ perceptions of themselves and their culture as using science.
