Jonathan FryGraduate StudentResearchMy research focuses on understanding the seismic history and its effects on subsidiary faults of the San Andreas fault system. Specifically, I am looking for chemical signatures of seismic events as a means of determining a fault's seismic history and potential, as well as its mechanical properties. This work is part of the San Andreas Fault Observatory at Depth (SAFOD) project. More information on the project can be found here. I am also interested in regional-scale tectonics as well as structural geology in petroleum systems. ExperienceChevron Energy Technology Company, Chevron U.S.A.
