Current Research

Graduate Level

  • Sedimentological and genetic stratigraphic study of an East Texas Basin field area for reinterpretation of the changing stratigraphic profile and paleo-depositional environment.

Advisors: Dr. Olszewski, Dr. Ayers and Dr. Tice (2011-Present)

  • Studying the target research area using well-log data, new core samples and digital well-log software to find new information that would potentially solve problems of flow direction, cementation properties, depositional structure geometries within stratigraphic sections and stratigraphic trapping.
