Eric Stewart

Research Interests

My Ph.D project is attempting to answer three main questions: 1. The tectonic setting of upper mantle deformation recorded in the Red Hills Ultramafic Massif, New Zealand; 2. characterizing and hopefully quantifying strain across different structural domains in the Red Hills; 3. understanding why deformation localized and what localization processes were dominate at the massif scale.
