Field Experience

  • Structural and lithological mapping around Mahendragarh, Jhunjhunu and Alwar districts. Also studied folding patterns and associated micro/meso fabrics, various stages of deformation and metamorphism of Delhi Supergroup, 2001
  • Visited base metal mines, Rampura Agucha and Rajpura – Dariba, and studied mineralization, host rock association, ore genesis, ore exploitation methods and the controlling system of ore beneficiation plant, 2001
  • Worked on a developing base metal mine “Sindeshwar Khurd” and studied various techniques of underground mine development, and did pedogeochemical sampling, 2001
  • Visited and studied mineralization, host rock association, and ore genesis of base metal mine at Zawar, and rock phosphate mine at Jhamar – Kotra, Rajasthan, India, 2000
  • Mapped and analyzed the Vindhyan Supergroup rocks along GBF (Great Boundary Fault) near Chittaurgarh, Rajasthan, NW India, 2000
  • Geological mapping and petrography of Gondwana sediments near Jabalpur and Maihar in Madhya Pradesh. Also, studied the field relationships of inter-trapean Lameta beds and Deccan flood basalts, 1999
  • Summer intern: Central Ground Water Board, New Delhi, India Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, July 2003 – August 2003.
