Research Interests

My research interests include microstructures, petrology, mineralogy, and structural geology.

I am studying dunites and orthopyroxenites in the Twin Sisters Massif in Washington State. I am using the Scannning Electron Microscope (SEM) and the Electron backscatter (EBSD) to study the crystallographic orientation of the mineral grains within a fold to determine the possible affects of strain in the area.
